I let Shelby drive the golf cart until someone told us it was a $1,000 fine if she got caught. I took over then.

I took Stella in the butterfly house where they let her set a new butterfly free. That place was such a sauna - I sweated off 10 lbs.!

While the boys rode jet skis in lake Erie - the girls went gem mining...

This is the traffic jam we got in on I-71 driving home that night. We thought we were making good time because Stella had to spend the day in apts. the next day at the hospital so we didn't want her to be too tired. We got up at 6:00 a.m. that morning so we could eat and catch the early ferry over. We took a different route home - which was under construction. It is the second worst traffic jam I have ever been in (1st being Chicago) and it took us 6 hours to get back to our hotel. It was almost 2:00 a.m. when we got Stella to bed:( The funny part is the kids had fun. We turned the music up loud, laughed at people and their cars, watched a little road rage, and talked. As soon as we were able to exit and take back roads home they all went to sleep because the excitement was over. We joked around that sitting in that traffic jam would be the highlight of our trip and the thing we talked about most when we got home.

By the end of the day of fun in the sun this is what everyone looked like on the ferry ride.

Our day at PUT-IN BAY Island - Lake Erie
The U.S. /Canada border cuts through the middle of lake Erie. We drove 2 1/2 hours from Columbus and took a ferry out to the island. We rented a 6 person golf cart for the day and the boys rented jet skis. They say they drove to Canada on them???

The boys are lifting a car. Funny story about that. They were closing and we wanted to get a picture of the boys lifting the car. We ran out there with a worker chasing after us saying "can I help you?" We ran around the corner and snapped our picture. Then she caught us! We gave her the ole' we came all the way from Oklahoma- story. She didn't really care.

COSI - kids museum
Best kids museum I have EVER been to. It even beats the one in Chicago. We only spent 3 hours and didn't even come close to seeing/doing everything. We could have spent 1 or 2 days there.

And let's not forget this poor kid trapped in the middle. When you put all of our kids together they are like a pack of Hyenas who are out for the kill.

Shelby took the go-kart driving very seriously. Look at her face. They kept getting on to her for cutting people off. She was not out there to mess around - she wanted to win.

I had to put this picture on here. Look at the sign with the babyish looking dragon. The boys were like "are we really going to Chuck E Cheese for babies?" It was the biggest rip off I have ever seen, but the kids all had fun.
