Why is it so easy to embarrass a 13 year old? I'm convinced I am so cool there is no way I would ever do this to Sam. I have also noticed it's the strangest things that humiliate him. This child will run up, hug me and say "I love you mommy" and not be phased in the least. However, the other day I took some clementines and cheese with me in the car to pick the kids up. A group of his friends walked up to the car to say hi and I offered them some. Remember, I'm cool or else they wouldn't have come to say HI to me right? Sam jumped in the car and said "OH MY GOSH, why did you just do that?" I was stunned...what horrible thing did I do? He said "how could you offer them food?" I said because people like food so why wouldn't they? That one left me scratching my head a little. I know when they all come over here they certainly like to be offered food. There are 3 of his friends here now and we have already gone through a side of beef and 20 LARGE cinnamon rolls. Gotta run...time to start cooking again:)
