When I went in to discuss this situation I found out her phone had been stolen after school. Someone grabbed it and ran when it was time to check phones out of the office at the end of the day. She's crying over all of the trauma and I'm carrying Stella who is shoeless (I didn't think we would be getting out of the car) and has a huge knot on her head. Stella crawled under the
secretaries desk until the dust settled.
About the phone - we got home I looked for it, called it and texted it. Then Sam got a text that said "you're an idiot" from Shelby's phone. The person who stole it was dumb enough to text us! We told them there was a gps in the phone so we could track it and it better be turned into the office by morning. A little bit later I got a phone call from the principal telling me the phone had just been turned in and she would get to the bottom of it and fill me in tomorrow. So, tomorrow I should get the rest of the story.
