Welcome to our crazy life!

For years friends and family have told me to write a book about some of the wild, funny, challenging and (at times) unbelieveable events in my family's life. I decided a blog would be a good way to get my feet wet...so here goes! I was NOT an English major so don't critique.

Recovery room

Doctor came out and told us it was an abscess in her TM joint, but he made incision in hair so it wouldn't show. He left a drain tube in and we could continue both iv antibiotics until we know what kind of bacteria it is. He said nothing looked impressive (code for malignant). Sigh of relief. He did say he had no idea how or why she had it. It was between the bone and muscle so we could not see or feel it. He recommends that we do more studies to see if it's a congenital defect that may have produced a cyst that over time turned into abscess and may return??? Yet another mystery in her case.
