Since it was Easter lots of people delivered goodies to the room. By this time (Thursday April 21)she was very lethargic, weak and sleeping most of the day. Swollen looking. Stopped walking, eating, etc. Peds opthamologist came to examine her eyes and tells us she has papilladema. Swelling of the optic nerve due to increased intracranial pressure...causes bulging. Reccomends MRI - finally. Why some of these tests had not already been performed is beyond me. Yes, I'm disapointed in the doctor we had.
