OUR SECOND TRIP TO OHIO THIS SUMMER AND UPDATE ON STELLA!
You are probably wondering why Hank and I have on Rice spirit wear. It's a family joke that goes back to a trip to Jamaica when Stella was about 15 months old. The theme of that trip was "BARFARAMA" meaning Stella threw up on every flight, every shuttle - multiple times. Everyone in our entire family got puked on during that trip...including a few innocent passengers who were nearby. On the way home we had a stop in Houston where she threw up again (all over Hank). While he had her in the mens bathroom cleaning her up (here is a really gross detail - Stella was picking the barf off of her clothes and eating it - she was only 15 months old). I ran and bought some new clothes for both of them wear. It was very late at night and only one store was open. They had a mens Rice t-shirt and a little kids shirt that said "Don't Mess With Texas." After we made it home Hank was out working in the yard and the neighbor asked "are you an OWL?" Hank had no idea what he was talking about. When he finally caught on they had a good laugh. Every time he wears that shirt we think of that night and grin. So...I decided to surprise him with a new RICE t-shirt for this trip and I wore a hat. I am happy to report that Stella did not throw up on any of the 4 flights. She has flown enough times now that she's pretty good at it.
