We broke all the rules on this trip...we let Stella eat so much ice cream! This was the second one she had that day. I ate more ice cream on this trip than I eat in a year.
We played some put-put golf that evening until a big thunderstorm rolled in and we had to go inside and spend $300 worth of tokens in the games. Yes, I said rain and boy did it rain. It was exciting to see.
I don't know what it is about hotel pools and hot tubs and even when you have one in your own back yard it's not the same. Notice the ropes surrounding her that are NOT meant to be in the water...yes i know it makes us look like bad parents for letting her do it. Hank and I told them to get any and everything that was dangerous, put it in the pool and play with it while we went to happy hour in the lounge....OH - and don't forget to run on the slippery tile floors. Kidding. Kids do have this incredible knack for doing just that. They can turn lifesaving equipment into deadly drowning devices in minutes.
For her birthday breakfast she wanted a baked potato from Wendy's and a small chocolate frosty.
Stella celebrated her 7th birthday in Ohio. She lost her front tooth a few days before we left so she had tooth fairy money to spend on the trip! This was taken the morning of her birthday when we woke her up singing to her.
